Default Crash , 2 dead in SoCal

I just saw the news here in SoCal, that a corvette lost control at a high rate of speed on a corner and hit a tree. It then burst into flames.
Both occupants died.

I don't know what corvette it was, but regardless, someone over estimated their driving skills and paid the ultimate price. Along with someone else, not to mention their families.

Please people, respect your cars and save the dicey stuff for the track.
A sad story...

That's how the cookie crumbles....

Gm can build you a car, they can't guarantee you can drive it though. Sucks to be the passenger.

An apparent Corvette Club "cruise" that turned out tragic.

Sad. RIP.

Both were long time members and friends to many here. The driver had more racing experience than most.

The trauma is still very raw for most of us who knew them. I am less than thrilled with your comments.
