Relative to customer service. I think of the dozen or 2 orders I have made from forum vendors, more then half the time I either got the wrong product, a damaged product, or was shorted items. I have never had issues like this ordering hundreds of things from amazon outside of the 04 z06 shocks i tried to get from them. Maybe its just a corvette part thing? Sure I always end up getting what I need, but I am honestly tired of being taxed to be inconvienienced.

I also agree, you can actually build a forum in a more orderly manner and keep ads by ads and content with content like most other car forums I have used.

my BIGGEST complaint about this site.

never been on a board that moves this many pages a day and 40% of it is because of vendors bumping their own threads in EVERY category on the site.
it gets old

what ever happened to dont call us, we'll call you>?

but i still love this forum....

We have a forum section called "C5 Parts" and another called "C5 Vendor for Sale". Why must vendor ads be in all the other sections? I must agree with everyone about how the vendor ads bump user threads so much. Annoying...
If a user puts an item for sale in a section besides "C5 Parts" then it would get moved. So what's the difference?

I do believe this is the longest I've ever seen a thread complaining about vendor spam all over the forum survive.

I believe the title of the thread is hiding the content.

Also, it wouldn't matter whether you were a paying member or not... it would STILL get moved

It's fun, isn't it?

As devil's advocate, though: this is one of the most nicely put-together forums on the internet, aside from the constant vendor sale threads. It would appear that this CF's lax rules for vendors DO bring in quite a bit of money to run the site.

I agree, too many ads in a section not called classified or vendor. An overwhelming amount of ads to sift through for content.

It appears that now it's just to see if you can get your post in prior to lockdown haha did I make it?

But, I agree with all. I've seen no other forum that lets the vendors into the main discussions, it odd really. But I'm still a newbie, so I just take what I can get , no worries.

But it is annoying

I simply quit comin on this forum because of it. I scan the top 20 threads and leave...most of them being ads. I understand they are trying to do business but...at least make it interesting. Make a video of something cool then have it incorporate your product, do a photoshoot, etc. Marketing fails is all I see.

This is the best ad-hate thread ever. Somehow still open, and only one person has said "just don't click"

I've made a few comments in other sections about the Vendor ads Each time I'll get a warning from a mod. Haven't been sent to camp yet.
It does get on your nerves especially when you as a individual have a part to sell or are seeking a part not offered by a vendora

The ads suckass. Instead of "just don't click", how about keeping all the ads in the proper classification making it all the easier to "just don't click". Another thing that just chaps my *** is the vendor ads originally posted years ago and you must plow through several pages of comments and updates to make sure it's what's you're looking for.

While we're at it, lets talk about the blatant covering up of serious issues from forum vendors namely one owned by a guy who cant speak engrish and includes the letters Ap..s

I agree, all ads should be in the "vender section" and all that arnt should be moved there. If you in the mood to buy stuff you dont really need, you can browse all the ads there. We would be able to finally see real threads..
