Looks like you had a great tip. I have made the trip from Boston to the NCM twice in the Z06. It really is a great touring car. Last year I had installed the 760s before the ride and was really pleased with their performance. I hope to do some more exploring this summer with the Z. Maybe Texas or it could be a drive to Colorado to visit relatives. I may even wind up in CA.

If you get to the JFK Library some day, let me know. I live in the Boston area and have never been to see it. Thanks for posting.

Will do

This is the last of the whole enchilada.

This was the route I drove, and mileage.

get your Vette on the road, they will not melt by rain, dirt, and bugs. You will not enjoy your car sitting in the garage.

What a badass thread! I loved your pictures. I've always wanted to do something like that- either on a dualsport, the vette, or even a boring rental!

Great trip and great pictures. My wife and I are going in June to Corvettes at Lake Tahoe, it should be a fun trip at least 6 hrs from home but I'm also looking forward for a trip to the vette museum in not too far future. Thanks for shearing !!!

Just curious why you dipped down into Dallas both ways? You could have stayed on I-40 thru Oklahoma City one directions and visited the OKC Bombing Memorial.

Because I HATE driving thru Oklahoma. Those roads suck, they are almost as bad as Detroit, but not yet.

Overall? The Z06 performed without a glitch. It ran good, the only thing I wish it had is a louder exhaust at WOT. I got to compare all my choices. The Ti bypass or a new Corsa System. Not looking for any drone or a bit louder than already is.

The DRM shocks were very comfortable, and handle The Tail of the Dragon, and The Snake flawlessly. You must know I'm a triple-C4 owner, and the two I have now have sports aftermarket suspensions. After you drive bumpy cars for 20 years, anything else are "Cadillacs"
