What I find amazing is how quick/fast some of the bolt-on or cam-only cars have gone.

Even without being a hot-shoe, or racing at a "mineshaft air" type track, the cars are still fast.

I remember when mine was stock with 1000 miles on it, and I took it to the track back in March '02. On my 4th pass I ran 12.36 @ 116mph. 60' was 2.0x. Stock Goodyear tires. DA was +600'.

Very similar results with my 01 my first time at the track. Bone stock besides a catback. On the crappy eagle f1's cut a 2.0 60' and went 12.41 @114
