RPS full carbon for street and slipping at the track?
Have a 416 I'm building and needing a clutch. RPS is supposed to be quiet but don't know about slip. And searching I find more on a RXT for the better slip and drive. Also plan to hit it with a 250 shot on top.
Any info would be appreciated.

I have a RPS twin carbon (not ultralite) and it's a very strong clutch for holding 600+ RWHP, but it's almost impossible for me to slip, because the engagement area is razor thin. Very stiff pedal, with a Tick MC, and (feels like) about 1/4" from dis-, to engaged. Some of this abrupt behavior is probably due to the MC, and no clutch assist spring. My stock spring broke, and I never replaced it. It really doesn't do much except keep the pedal at the top of it's travel. Many have reported it (the clutch) to be noisy, and got some vibration, but I didn't have those problems. I think you can do better, and probably for less $$$.

We have been running an RPS BC2 since 2009. I taught my 17 year old daughter to drive a manual trans with this clutch. Engagement is buttery smooth. It has taken severe abuse and has not missed a beat. It has seen launches well above 6000 rpm.

rps street full carbon twin here.. thing slips great, drives like stock. I had the tick master 7/8 bore ( what it comes with ) and it makes and clutch feel grabby.. period. I swaped it out with a 3/4 bore tilton master cyl and its way way better..
