Default C5 Z06 LS7 chasing down 991 GT3

The GT3 had paper plates and was not slow...

Chasing down a 991 GT3 in a C5 Z = epic
Making a pro driver cry = priceless (watch what he says when I pull into the pits)

I almost push off when I pass the GT3, watch how I get on throttle to get the rear end to come around and save me... then I almost lose it in 2nd gear up that hill.

Sick driving, sick car! I wish my shifting was as on point as yours.

The way that you were sawing on that wheel it looks like you could use some serious adjustment on your suspension.

Yep, the car needs a set up bad and with a 320MM steering wheel and 315s in the front, it just requires more steering wheel input. It pushes bad....

I like this. I want this. Sounds like a healthy cam too, I don't know that you needed that much power to get past him.

Love the video, love the car!

I actually came across most of your vids on YouTube before. I recognized your car the moment I clicked on this thread.

Is the ZR1 trans OEM or built?

It's a built TR6060 ZR1 tranny, carbon driveshaft with a Stage 5 3.73 rear end. Custom tranny and diff coolers...

Thanks!

Man I haven't been down to MSR Cresson in 4-5 years. Looks like you were on the 1.7mi course only? Just curious how much investment you have in putting the LS7 in? Nice job driving!

Exhaust???? Sounds amazing, and you shift perfect imo

I thought I left track days with my bikes, but this may be a option for me LOL once you've been on a track it's hard to stay away

This engine, if I recall correctly was 20k or so... Top of the line everything. I know there is some other stuff required like some LPE electronic system that reads the flywheel.

This car has well over a 100k invested in it over the years.

Thanks! It took me MANY years to get perfect at shifting, I'm all about being surgical on my shifts.

Straight pipes hehe
