[Z06] 2003 z06 rear differential fluid amount

Two quarts for sure need to purchased. Heat it up in hot water before pumping it in, makes the job a whole lot easier.
Get some extra crush washers for the top and bottom, they are the price of gold from GM but do not reuse the old ones. Just asking for leaks and a mess everywhere.
The stuff simply stinks. Enjoy.

I just changed mine Friday. It takes just under 2 quarts. I had about an inch left in the bottom of the last quart. Some advice...make sure you have a good fluid pump. The one I had was awful and if i hadn't already drained the fluid i would've smashed it into pieces. Also, I didn't change my washers but i did use some teflon tape to the threads.

I am glad you were able to reuse your crush washers, they really were as I recall expensive.
Perhaps you took better care of yours than the GM mechanic who changed mine when the drivers side axel seal was replaced. It continued to leak oil and when I took it apart what I found was that the upper washer was bent into a heart shape and when the diff fluid got hot it leaked out at the top. It was difficult to understand where it was actually leaking from.
I had no choice but to replace the washers in my case but I live a long way from a GM dealer I was glad I made the choice to buy new ones. Not trying for any drama just telling what I found with mine.
