Yesterday I picked up my first Vette. 2001 Z06 with 53k miles. Solid car! Here are some pics. The guy I bought it from didn't know too much about cars in general, so I think I lucked out. Paid 17k for it. There is a signature on the engine cover.. anyone have info on it?

Nice score, I don't think I'd buy a Z without mod red interior, I like it so much I put a Z06 mod red interior in my FRC.

Nice find! I got a 01 but it's not the Z06. It has 53K miles on it as well and I paid 15K. Being you have the Z06. Looks like you got a great deal, or I got a bad deal. LOL.. I like the interior but get rid of the advertisement floor mats. Get the Z06 mats instead. Anything done to the car performance wise?

The z06 mats are underneath those! Not Alabama, but pretty close. Mississippi!! The only thing I can see that's not stock is a black wing air filter (stock intake) and short throw shifter. Other than that I think it's stock. The guy I bought it from had no clue about this car
