Default Help me ID these wheels!

Hello All,

I just bought a C5 Z06 last week. I absolutely LOVE it fyi. I did start doing some research and the wheels I have on the car (20" and 19") appear to be stock wheels. Problem is I have not found any stock wheels in this size!

Can you help ID these wheels for me? If they are reproduction alloy wheels I will probably try to sell them and get a set of 19/18" wheels instead (I can afford better rubber on the smaller size- and hopefully reduce weight substantially).

If these are aluminum wheels I will be in good shape and I wouldn't see any reason to NOT run these wheels (well tire price still sucks, but I can get over that).

Thanks in advance!

Stock wheels were 18 (10.5) in back and 17 (9.5) in front. Those are definitely aftermarket, probably from China. Pull them and check the back for any kind of manufacturing markers.

Stock wheels only came from factory either argent (gunmetal color) or polished (Z16).

You might find chrome speedlines/alcoas, but that means they were chromed after the factory installed them.

It looks like Z16 oem wheels that were well kept and polished pretty well.

Look like chrome repros that were produced by Factory Reproductions in the past. I believe they are long discontinued. I have a set in 19x9.5 /19x11. They're okay, but heavy relative to OEM Speedlines.

Default Thanks

Cool- thanks Ominous. I'll take them off this weekend and let you guys know what I find. It sounds like these are probably going to be on my short sell list then. What do you think I should offer these up at? There is a very minor scuff on one of them (I even forget which one it's so small).

Ruff 954's would be my guess. They come in 19" and 20".

Those are close. I actually like them more, but they look a bit different.

I don't see the exact model anywhere. Are the reproduction wheels decent generally? I see many are aluminum (which I believe is the same as stock and generally a light material).

they look to be pretty decent judging by your pics... they are most likely cast so they won't be as strong as a forged wheel and are probably really heavy but other than that I wouldn't worry about it... if you can get the car off the ground take one side off and look at the back side of the wheels for part numbers or markings and that may help you identify the actual manufacturer... you could probably sell them fairly easy if you wanted to get something different, they aren't the size wheel I would personally prefer but they look good and not near as bad as some of the other wheels out there

They are horrible! And perform as such! Get that car up to speed 90+ mph and see how it handles... Then go find you some real Alcoa's or Speedlines and throw them on... Ask me how I know.! These same wheels were on my C5Z when I purchased it in 07.... got into some spirited driving and damn near crashed... It was like driving with 4 cinder blocks on my car.
