Default Stock wheel question, RE: black wheels

Did the stock Z wheels come in black as an option. The '04 I am looking at is MY with black wheels. I haven't seen the car in person yet, but will tomorrow. From the pics, it's hard to tell if they have been powder coated or came from the factory that way. Anyone know?

Ok, thanks. I am not a huge fan of black wheels, but they do look pretty good on the MY. And from the pics they look professionally done. I will probably change out to something else in the future, but the car and the price are too good to pass up because of the wheels.

Post up some good pics because there's a good chance the wheels are knockoffs i.e. they weigh a ton.

Too bad you aren't closer to me. Mine are charcoal that were plastidipped. They have brand new rubber, less than 500 miles. I would probably sell the wheel/tire combo together in order to get something else.

Interestingly I just picked up a set of Factory Reproductions C5 Z06 replica wheels in black, 18x10.5's are barely +1lb over stock. I'm pretty impressed so far.

A couple pics of the FR black replica Z06 wheels. They're gloss black, but have a light coat of brake dust on them in the pics.

Wow, that's impressive for replicas. They're usually very heavy. will have to keep these in mind if I need to pick up a pair of 18x9.5's for upsizing the fronts for A-street class.

If you want the C5Z style, you might want to look into it sooner than later as I've been told the black has been discontinued.

I originally only ordered a pair of these wheels and was going to make a set of four 18x10.5's using other wheels I had. When I received the first pair and weighed them I decided to order another pair while I could still get them.

I ordered from performanceplustire.com.
