Hi guys, I checked 5-6 different Z06 and noticed that some of them has brakes with cross-drilled Rotors, but some of them - not.

Is it some kind of tuning or cross-drilled Rotors come in stock since z06 2002 year?

All C5 Z06s came from the factory with plain rotors. Some of us changed to cross drilled rotors when the originals wore out.

I might be wrong on this, but both C5 Z06's that I bought with the "stock" front rotors were drilled. Maybe they weren't stock but they sure seemed like it.


I stand corrected, I just looked through a bunch of stock photos of C5 z06's and none of them have drilled rotors. I guess on both my cars someone replaced the original with junk drilled rotors.

C5Z's didn't come with drilled or slotted rotors, I don't believe any C5's had them as stock equipment, they were not seen until the C6 Z51 cars.
