Good buy or keep looking?
Been looking at the C5 market for a short while now. I'm new to the C5 LS platform so I've been trying to read and digest it all.
I recently found a 03 C5Z with 33k miles. Bottom dollar is 22k cash
Red in color, black int. with a set of replicas and the original set of rims. 2 owners. ARH 1 7/8 headers, x pipe, catless and b&b exhaust are only mods.
Pics look really nice and it's close by locations wise. Not sure if it's a good deal or if I should hold out and keep looking. Hate to jump on the 1st thing I see that I like.
Any help fellas!

Sounds like a good deal if you want a low mile C5 Z06.
That kind of money will buy a nicer modded non-Z, or a higher-mile C6.
Cant' go too far wrong. These cars are robust.

Check to see if it was ever cammed and/or FI and/or if the cam was pulled and/or if there were issues because of it
Reason I ask is its odd to be using 7/8" headers without any other power adders....

No service records except for him. All he says is he changed oil, filter every 3k miles with Mobil One. No issues with Column lock when I asked. He stated he is the 2nd owner.
He gave me the VIN. Anyone have unlimited carfax reporting?
No link, private seller and was told about the car by a friend who lives in the neighboring town.
He said he has not beat it, never raced, no other mods besides exhaust which I'm fine with. That's really all I want besides maybe lowered out of the gate.

The price and car seem pretty good. You already saving ~$2500 in mods since the car has the LTs and full exhaust. Drive it and see how it feels, honestly not much can go wrong with these cars. An abused/neglected Z is not hard to tell. Good luck
