what pulley size are you running?... which belt was too long and which one was too short and by how much?... you need to post all the info you have if you expect any help... on a stock car the serpentine belt is always the same size but with a blower setup you have different blower pulley sizes, different crank pulley sizes, secondary drives, etc, so every persons setup can require a different size belt... also is there a reason why you are using an underdrive balancer?... that will spin your blower slower than a factory balancer would so you will make less boost... most supercharged guys run overdrive balancers so they can get a couple more pounds of boost out of their setup

I bought the car with an under drive setup on it already. Ecs's novi 1500 kit comes with a 3.48 blower pulley I'm not sure what size the SLP under drive is. Im going to have to run a bigger restrictor to make up for the slower rotation. I'd rather not change the balancer. The supplied belt from ecs seemed about 2-3 inches too long. The stock belt is about 6 inches shorter than the supplied belt.

I can find a belt to work by process of elimination and measurements. Im just curious if anyone has come across the set up and knew a length or even a part number

you could completely remove the restrictor but you will still see less boost than you normally would with a stock sized balancer... personally I would change it but that's just me... what were the belt sizes you tried, I would think an 895 or 891 would be close if you aren't using a secondary/direct drive and don't forget that your power steering idler has 3 holes so you have a little adjustment there to take out some slack or add some if the belt is slightly too long or short... or you could set your manual tensioner and lock the spring tensioner open then run a string or an old belt that is too long around your pulleys, pull it as tight as you can by hand, mark and cut off the string/belt where the ends meet, then lay it out and measure... I would probably go the next size up to account for the spring tensioner being open but this method has worked for me

Thanks guys I got it figured out...it ends up being about 2 inches shorter than the supplied ecs belt.
