Default Just bought an '03 Z06, suspension issuses?

EDIT: Got rid of the clicking after re-torqing the axel nut properly.

Swapped out to prothane rear sway bar bushings, but creaking is still there. Not sure what it could be?

30K on the clock. Came with GHL Bullets, Blackwing Filter and short shifter. Runs like a bat outta hell! It's lowered; pretty low. I assume on longer bolts. Could be stock bolts? Anyhow, anytime the body flexes or goes over bumps, there's *very noticeable* creaking! Sounds like it's coming from the rear. Also, I hear clicking at times in the rear. I don't know where to start. Any ideas?

First raise it up about 1/2 to 3/4 in, align it and see if the noise is still there, but a clicking noise may be a CV joint on the axle going bad.

Thanks.

I read the clicking could be the axle hub splines need new lubricating? That would be an easy fix.

You may also want to check that the Axel nut is torq right, and that the bolts connecting the axel to the diff are also tight.

Clicking from when starting from a dead stop might indicate the axle shaft splines are loose in the hub. If that happens you need to replace both the axle and the hub or the remaining worn part will wear out the new part. If you pull the hub cap and then use a long lug nut wrench to rock the car back and forth you can see if the axle shaft is moving around inside the hub.
