Why, itching to use a big socket? My guess is no, but I believe that is the size a had to buy for my VWs stupid oil filter.

picked it up thinking it was right size for my truck pitman arm....Not, I have a 33mm for wheel bearing so guess I will take it 36mm back. Funny nobody had a 1-5/16 I really wanted except in a 3/4 drive and sears didn't even have a 33 mm period...what's up with that. thanks for reply

I seem to remember using a 36mm socket on the rear axle nuts of VW Beetles back many years ago. Last Beetle I had would run 13's. I loved embarrassing muscle cars in the 70's.

Was looking for some big sockets myself awhile back have to go the catalog for the big stuff ..Proto has the big stuff also .. I just did a cam ported heads on my 04 I might have used 10 different sockets I could have put them all in my pocket ,LS easy to work on hard to get to anything but easy just the same once you take five parts off to get to what you need to work on easy ..LOL .. NO 36 MM
