Default New shift ****

Just picked up a delrin hardbar shift **** from productinnovations, and I wanted to come here and let you all know how great the quality is.
Feels great, and is made really well. Awesome finish. Threaded on perfectly. I went with 4" white because that's what the c5r used!

I recommend this style of ****, and I recommend the company I got it from.

Now I need to figure out if I want to keep the shifter stock, cut it, or replace it!

The C5R did in fact use a Delrin shift ****...however, it was black. I have two of them (one on my car and one in "stock"). My shifter is a B&M Ripper, with no problems.

Just a suggestion. Don't cut the shifter, try any of the short shifter but keep the long neck on them you enjoy the ability to feel the gates. You don't see a short stub shifter in the C5R's.

Mark.

That might hold true for some, and in theory it is reversible if he doesn't like it. Maybe in racing shortened shifters are not preferred, but for daily street driving I much prefer my 1 1/4" shortened factory shifter.

I just put a delrin in my FRC (bought from ebay for 60$, don't recall the seller)

and while I was expecting more of a cheap plastic feeling to it, I'm very surprised. It almost has a velvety feel. Very nice.

Anything is better than the big square shaped monstrosity that is the factory ****

I also really like the height and feel with the factor shift lever

Hmmmm...I purchased the Delrin "Chubby" shift **** from Hardbar sometime during 2003/2004. The owner said that they supplied the C5R with the *****.
