Hey guys doing a rear end fluid drain and fill soon and im going with the amsoil 75-90 severe gear fluid. Question i have is do i need to add the amsoil slip lock additive? Or more so should i , i know this gear oil has a additive already in it but i figure this will only make it that much better. My z06 is bone stock, 30k mileage.

I added 4 oz. of slip lock.

No additive is needed just the gear oil is good enough

More doesn't necessarily mean better. I changed mine with the same fluid, no extras.

I've used this in my car since owning it, never used any additive, and never had any issues

Great thanks guys for all the input. Ill take the feedback and ill just use the amsoil fluid without the additive. Now the fun part of finding anyine who sells this in maine!! Lol. Ill probally end up ordering it online.
