First Time Corvette/Z06 Owner New Project **With Pics**
Hello all. Just picked up my first ever Corvette and landed a 2004 Z06 with 25K miles. Found it at a local repairable center and the deal was too good to pass up. Looks like the previous owner must have hopped a curb and hit something. Car has a few mods LG super street long tubes on it which I picked up a set of super pros thanks to blackdak318 vararam intake, C6 shifter, and C7 Z06 competition gray replicas 18/17's.
Currently in the process of tearing it down and ordering parts. Have a few things on the way and it doesn't look to be anything real major. Super excited to get it back together and take it for a spin to get an alignment first and she what she's got
Time for some pics...
Unique way of loading a car on a flat deck.

Holy sh*t, a forklift! LOL I thought it was photoshopped at first.
Looks like it's in decent shape except for that front corner. Hopefully it's not more than a few cosmetic pieces and maybe a couple of brackets etc.
Mind telling us what you paid for it?
No doubt it's likely a steal.

I about sh*t my pants when they brought it out like that. Made for an easy load though. Radiator and AC were still full. One header took a good bump in the collector so figured I'd upgrade. Car ran decent but had an exhaust leak so it was running a little rough. So we should get that all ironed out. Got it for only $11.5K Figuring 3 grand worth of parts should get back to road worthy not counting any upgrades

A Z on a forklift. LOL. Now that's something you don't see everyday
Wow. $11.5K for a 25K mile Z. Great find.
Doesn't look like it'll take much to put it back together.

Nice find, subscribed. Did the long forks do any damage to the delicate underside?

Salvage title and 11.5K makes sense. It may be a tough sell someday but in the bang for the buck category you scored big time... Especially if you are handy/DIY which it sounds like you are.. Good luck. Should be running in no time...
