Modern cars need a tune to take advantage of the better intakes out there.
People are quick to say "xyz mod makes zero power" so my answer to that is would you let a car with a vararam be ahead of you on the fastest stock Z06 list? surely if the mod was worthless you'd have no problem with it, but I suspect that isn't the case.
My vararam and canned tune only '01 trapped 117, so I wouldn't say they do nothing, just don't expect to set the world on fire from just a CAI.

Who is arguing *****? My point was stock mph for the '01 cars is usually 113ish and mine trapped 117 with just a CAI and canned tune, so obviously they don't do "nothing."
