I did Halltech intake, GM carbon braces, MGW shifter on the C7Z. The C7Z takes corners well, it hits a wall at 125mph. The game has changed for making a beast car that accelerates well. The C7Z won't ever do it without taking the aero off... which I'm not going to do. The Mclaren MP4 goes 16MPH faster on the straights and the 675LT goes 20mph faster on the straights, for example at COTA. But my C5 burns everyone, even paced a 918 Porsche lol
You have a good memory, I did post a few videos getting a little stupid in the C5 and yes it was a Vortech

I don't see any aero mods and it looks like your main radiator is still configured as bottom breather, do you feel your front end getting light at all over 150?

ha, nice! You know, the point of those plastic deflectors infront of the tire supposedly reduces lift by 5%. Some weird fact I remembered from a long time ago, who knows if it's actually 5%. Point being, I don't recall feeling anything at 165-170mph and that was the first time I drove it at high speed.

I know it does have highspeed push naturally, my suspension and 315s up front really keep the nose down, im sure my wide fender is helping some. But you are referring to the air coming in the main scoop, interesting, I never thought about it. Keep talking ha... imagine if I had aero on this beast, which of course next.

I forget the exact weight I think it was close to 3500 with me in it, I'm very dense, lol

I just had my Penskes serviced and dynoed once back on the car I will have it corner weighted.

When I purchased my car it already had the C6 APR GT wing; I ran my first few track days with the wing, and recently removed it to gauge the difference, and WOW, what a difference!! I was surprised at how much of a difference I felt at speed. The deck mounted wing works very well!
