I have an 02 Z06 that I'm trying to install head studs on. ARP told me I needed kit # 234-4316 so I purchased that kit through a distributor. Opened it up , inspected, cleaned and lubed appropriate hardware...the studs won't thread into the block. When I look it up on their site I come up part # 234-4313 for my car. So I'm pretty sure I just wasted $325 from someone's ignorance. Does anyone know the correct part # ?

Part # 234-4316 is the correct part for a pre 2004 LS block. The studs have a different thread pitch on each end, are you sure you are attempting to thread the correct end of the stud into the block?

Ummmm no, I'm installing correctly, thread pitch is off.
