[Z06] New owner

New owner
Proud new owner of my very first 01 Z06 I couldn't pass up the deal & has only 55k on it. Needs a few things and just looking for some tips and insight as a first timer. Looking for a left rear quarter panel, preferably in the factory torch red, but don't really care since I'm looking to have it repainted. Are the panels interchangeable from the base & Z06 or do they differ? Also trying to figure out the intermittent turn signal issue. So far the hazard switch seems to help bypass the issue, but only temporarily. Any other thoughts & inputs are certainly appreciated. Thanks.

Buy a hyperflash bypass to fix the turn signal issue, so simple to do.

congrats on your first C5 Z06, I remember when I got my 01 quicksilver Z06, very exciting. i recommend watching the product videos from GM on youtube, some good info there. Here is a link that shows how to replace the hazard switch, it goes bad and that is what causes the turn signal issue.
. Do you know about the competitive driving mode? If you hold the active handling button for 7 secs, it turns off traction control but active handling stays on. I would also say that you might not need to repaint the vette, you might just get away with a good detail / paint correction.

Very nice... Love the TR C5Z... I too own an 01... Great cars! All great advise thus far from the forum. you would be surprised what a clean, clay bar, detail will do for your paint.

Congrats and Welcome to the forum! I also agree with the clay bar method.
