I will most likely go with the rs3's come spring. I have found they run pretty wide. The 255/40/17 is actually almost identical width of the 275/40/17 nt05. And the 285/35/18 rs3 is actually a few mm wider then the 295/35/18 nt05.
having run two sets of nt05s since 2009 I'm excited to try a better tire. The new maxxis vr1 has caught my eye too. Only test I have seen is the vr-1 vs the rival s on grassroots motor sports. So as of now rs3 will be my next tire.
