Default Just ordered the newest version Stance coilovers...

The new version is the XR1 which was released not long ago. Priced very well and seem to be good quality. Ordered them from Dennis @ DDMods.

EDIT: Finally got them installed, height adjustment, corner balanced and aligned. Have the dampers set in the middle(8 clicks). Right after install, I thought the car was very bouncy. In reality, it's just stiffer, so I feel much more in the road. I think I'm gonna try a bit softer on the damping. Haven't really tested the cornering ability, but the car seems to be more planted.

Here are a frew pics. I did not slam the car. I'm glad I put some rocker savers on because even at this height. the middle of the car has scraped on some driveways.

Did you buy more to be able to lower the car and ride quality? Give us an update on how you like them after install.

Without a doubt. Performance isn't a big deal as I never track the car. I will have them set on the softest setting.

I want to redo my entire suspension badly.

Just like you, I don't ever really track the car, but coilovers and bigger sway bars are just needed haha.

Let us know when they come in!

Will do! I will receive them on Tuesday. Even lowered on stock bolts(MAX), I still think the suspension is being stressed. Coilovers will fix that. I'm gonna use the softest setting as there's some rough roads around here and I want the best possible ride quality.

I installed Stance coi overs 1.5 years ago. Not very many miles on them but have been extremly pleased with the ride etc. I left mine on the settings they came and only altered the ride hight.

I installed HSD coilovers (made by Stance) about a year ago and i've been very pleased with them. No track but lots of spirited drives, love the setup for street. Damper settings are 8/8 for Front/Rear.

Beautiful!

So, you're at the midway point for damper settings?

Instructions said to set it to 8/8 (out of 16) when installing new. I did and left it there. Feels great.

Interesting. I would assume the Stance coilovers would say the same thing. Getting them delivered today.

That's where mine are set as well 8/8. I could see maybe going stiffer for a track day but even for uh hum agressive street driving so much better than stock.

I'm going to start at 6 clicks from softest and go from there. How easy is the damping to adjust?

So I expect the ride with coilovers is much better on lowered cars.

It will definitely be firmer than stock even on softest settings. To adjust the front dampers is easy. Rears would require cutting 2 holes in the body where shocks come up, to make any adjustments. Or disassembling it again to get to the clickers.

Find out if these extensions are compatible with your coil overs. Would make your life easier.

Really? Stance told me the car may "bounce" on the softest setting. Not exactly sure what he meant by bounce.

i just picked up some new hsd's for 1200 tax in Canadian on black firiday.
my car has 100k km. so 'im sure the shocks are due for replacement .

4 new bilstein shocks were 800 cad so i'm taking chance on the cheap coil overs.

I'm confident they'll work just as good as the "expensive" coilovers.
