Only complaint I have on the car is interior noise. It is LOUD inside so I am planning some serious sound deadening. Handling and performance though is unreal!!
that's a great deal. you basically got the whole FI setup for free

Thanks, I thought so, too. The car was in Wisconsin and the dealer said he didn't want to sit on it all winter. His original price was 29K and I happenned to stumble upon it right after he lowered the price to 24.5K and I called him as soon as I saw it. I had been looking for several months and I had not seen a price like that anywhere. He claimed it lived most of its life in the back of an enclosed trailer going to shows to promote sales of the superchargers. I can't confirm whether that's true or not but the car overall and the interior are so mint it almost hard to believe, like a perfectly preserved specimen from the past. It even has a bit of that new interior smell. Anyway, I guess my point is, be patient. I looked at so many corvettes online and also in person before I finally pulled the trigger and I was really happy that I was patient. Good luck with your quest for a Z. I suggest paying just a bit more and getting a low miler. There are lot of Z's out there with 40K or less on them. You're looking at much less nickel and dime stuff initially than with a higher miler. Just my .02.

I recently picked up a bone stock '03 Z06 with 30K miles in GREAT shape for $22,500 from a dealer. Dealer paid $21,500 for it at the auction(I have a friend who can look this up). I got a hell of a deal.

FWIW, I would NEVER buy any car with 100K miles.

I know, I wanted to dumb it down a bit. This is a Chevy forum not Ferrari.

It's a driver, 100k miles, and indicates what the condition the rest of it will be like. At best it's worth 15k
