C5 Z06 foglight panel question...
Although, the base C5 has no grills, this area is still closed off. Behind the grill of the C5 z06, is this area open or closed?

Thanks. I want the honker for a sealed intake, but leaning towards the blackwing to save a good amount of cash. The open area behind the z06 screens should help with cooling. I could remove the screens, but not sure I want to.

The Honker is an awesome product, but I'd rather spend $500 on something else. 
Had a Blackwing for 2 years, and had zero issues. Found a screaming deal on a lightly used Vararam and power duct combo that I couldn't pass up though.

Was worried about an open filter element as losing power because of heat, but I doubt I'll lose power.
