Just picked up a 2002 Z06.
Just drove to Colorado from Oregon and back to pick up my new Z06. 2002, red exterior, pure black interior, 8,7xx miles. It even smells new inside still.

Looks amazing. I'm in South Denver. We have a group on FB. Not a club, just good guys and gals that love Vettes. Search Denver South Corvettes. I also have a 02 C5Z. What a great car!!!!

Thanks!
Thanks! As soon as this weather cooperates! Too much ice and gravel on the roads right now with more snow and freezing rain scheduled for tomorrow.
I bought this one at Rickenbaugh Infiniti in Dacono, CO. I'm looking forward to hooking up with some of the Corvette guys here in Oregon. If we road trip back to Colorado I'll look you guys up!

Congrats on the car. I also have a 2002 tr Z06 and I've been driving it on the street and road courses since then. Demanding tracks with high speed off camber turns really put a strain on the stock wheel bearings and the stcok oiling system. Sticky tires don't help those systems either. After 5 engine replacements (ls3 now) because of the oiling system not oiling the top of the engine in high speed banking turns, I finally put in a dry sump system and haven't had a problem since. If you just do normal steet driving, canyon runs and the occasional highway quick blasts you should be ok. But tracks like Watkins Glen, Pocono, New Jersey Motor Sports Park, Virginia International, and Lime Rock, can reak havoc with their high speed off camber turns. Good luck, its a fantastic, resilant, beautiful car. Most things can be worked on with normal tools in a home garage.

Thank you!
I'm going to drive it for a while and see how I like it before I start deciding what to modify. There was a picture floating around of a red Z06 that was lowered with blacked out windows that looked great, but I put function before form.
Lol, that doesn't sound all that enjoyable. :p

Wowzer! Talk about a diamond in the rough! Beautiful car! I thought I found a low mile Z this past fall with 19K miles on it. That's an awesome find. Red or black were my only color considerations when I bought. Congrats!!!
