i have an alu shorty antennae and reception stinks.

at some point i'll modify the stereo to plug in my android phone and stream pandora. but until then.....i play cd's when i really want to listen to music.

you know, those disc-shaped things that have music printed on them. very retro.

I bought a shorty antenna but my radio station is LS6 that plays through Corsa sports so it really didn't make a difference. I control the volume with my foot instead of my fingers. But it does look a lot better than a wire hanger.

I just unscrewed mine. I listen to satellite anyway. If I ever needed my radio antenna that badly I'd just install a power antenna. The shorty wouldn't work well with my cover and I'm not cutting a hole for it lol

I have the stubby from CravenSpeed. It looks great but reception suffered quiet a bit from stock... I live in the mountains, though. Not many stations around here anyway.

I bought the Cravenspeed last month based on my analysis of all the various threads. Looks great, costs nothing and gets good reception.

Cravenspeed stubby, reception is not as good but ok. I would guess it's about 60% of original. Looks good and good quality though.

btw i stripped it and powdercoated it satin black because i did not like the finish and the writing that was on it....
