[Z06] Is anyone else amazed at how well C5Z performance has held up over time?

Advanced
Yes, the car remains quite competitive in todays market. One of the first things I look at on car specs is curb weight. Weight is so discounted these days - everyone wants to boast high HP/TQ numbers but no mention of weight. Curb Weight/PeakHP = Fun Factor (lower number is better). Z06 still holds its own.

Adding a 525rwhp 416 to my 04 Z16 along with a mantic clutch, C6 shifter, race pads to stock brakes (do have a hydraboost unit on it) as well as harness bar with harnesses and sticky NT-01 rubber have me neck and neck with my buddy's 2014 640chp viper acr.
Lightweight + added pwr make them an exceptional hot rod! Up until the recent kaboom of the engine I was into it $25,000 with all those mods (rebuilt salvage title, 42,000 miles). Just don't run low on oil at 7200rpm!
