How much horsepower do I have?
I was talking to my brother today about my Z06 (a favorite topic of ours). Well, as I was going through the simple mods I have on the car, he happened to ask me how much horsepower my car was currently making. Well, I really didn't know the answer to this "simple" questions. So, maybe you guys can help me out here. These are my mods: Blackwing, TB bypass and Superchip tune. What do you think my 2002 Z06 is pumping out? Both to the flywheel and the rearwheels? How about with these additional mods that I'm going to install this weekend: a coupler and some 2.5" electric cutouts? Thanks guys.

I totally agree. I need more, but I'm taking it slow. It takes a little time to get use to 400+ hp! :eek:

Heck..... I've opened her up a total of 2 times with AH/TC turned off since I got her in January and it scared the hell out of me. I love this car!

I would say you just lost 20 horsepower for wasting space on the forum. You asked one of the most ridiculous questions that I have ever seen asked on the forum.

go to http://www.fasttimesperformance.com/analyzer.html after you make a few 1/4 passes and have REAL MPH data.
For example, my car+me, 3117lb + 217lbs @ 115.3 mph = 399 total crank hp and ~342rwhp. Yours is probably about the same. Note, the above was from rolling off the line at idle and rolling in to the throttle. A bit more agressive launch, maybe a 116 easily, so probably I left a little hp at the line.
Figure your car is close to 405hp just like advertised. The blackwing may get you 10hp more, who knows.

At the risk of getting flamed and using the 405 as a base, probably 430hp at the crank and about 340 rwhp (15% drivetrain loss). TB bypass and coupler=1hp MAYBE (but I also installed them :D ).
