Is the Z06 lower than a base C5?

I'm looking to buy a late-model C5. Test-drove an '02 base coupe and it barely cleared the hump in my driveway. That's ok. But before I get my hopes up for finding that perfect Z06, does anyone know how the Z06 ground clearance compares with the base coupe?

My 2004 Z06 actually has more clearance than my 99 convertible had. I use to scrape the front air dam on the 99 every time I backed out of my driveway, the Z never scrapes.

My '02' Z06 has more clearence than my '01' coupe with base
suspension.
A friend has a '98' vert and it is lower than the '01'.

If you are talking about the front air dam scraping then so what?? They cost like $80 total and I consider them a consumable like shocks and tires, but much cheaper.

Buy whichever car you like and don't worry about those little pieces of black rubber.

i have a driveway entry problem also, for me best to approach slight angle...if straight on the damp touches but at angle ok...

My 99 Hardtop bairly scraped my driveway and then i got my 03 Z06 and it scrapes a little harder, but all it is hitting is the rubber flap so it is no big deal.
