What parts of the interior are leather?
Can someone set me straight and tell me what parts of my 2002 are leather and what parts are vinyl? I know the seats and the cover to the console are leather. What about the dash covering and the doors?
Thanks,
trebor

I don't think so but, could be wrong. I believe the 2002 leather is steering wheel, seat centers, shifter/parking brake boots and ****.

from the factory, leather is to be found on the steering wheel rim, shift ****, entire top-facing surface of lower seat cushion, and entire forward-facing surfaces of the upper seat cushion, with the exception of the side bolsters (which are all vinyl).
everything else in the car is vinyl and/or plastic.
console, shift/brake boot, door pulls--all vinyl (and a crappy/thin grade at that). pretty sad, on a $55k car... it's the only thing i can't stand on any vette (poor quality of materials on interior--not the design, which i think is great).
i happen to have the mod red interior, which i think is the coolest thing ever! someday i'll upgrade to keep the same color theme, but with ken king's leather seats and interior enhancements. QUALITY!

i was told those parts have been vinyl since '97 on all c5's (my '99 was also vinyl on e-brake and shifter boot). the texture was closest to leather of all the vinyl in the car, but it still came from oil, not a cow! the z went to an even lighter, almost neoprene-like shiny textured vinyl in '03 and '04.
