I'm curious to see if anyone has taken delivery of an '02 Z06 yet? I haven't seen one yet in Houston.

I picked my '02 Black Z06 up yesterday with 5 miles on it. I traded in my '99 coupe. I haven't hit the loud pedel hard yet though, since I am breaking it in, but have hit some familiar turns hard and it is on rails compared to my '99. The exhaust sounds and looks awesome. I have the HUD and it looks the same as the one on my '99. I love it already, and haven't even pushed it yet. My first road course day will be 9/6 (FATT, Summit Point, WVA). I drove the Z06 at the Bragg-Smith class earlier in the year, and it feels alot like that one.

I was at Team Chevrolet in the Chicago area and saw a Yellow 02'Z06...they wanted the $5k adjustment for it.

Jumper Chev. just called. Taking delivery of Yellow Boy in about an hour.

Sonny from the plant and my dealer (Knippelmier in OK) said my Z06 should be in this weekend.

I am so glad. It has been a long wait.

Mike, I bought it at Sport in Silver Spring with Chad Fisher. No discount or premium to sticker (didn't expect any discount though on such an early order). I bought my '99 there as well. Chad has always been great to deal with, as has Don Miller in service (who, unfortunately, I would see too often with the '99, hopefully better luck on the Z). Bill.
