Default Has anyone tried to install Flowmasters??

OPINION: One of the best sounding mufflers come from Flowmaster.

I'm guessing that since the new C6 exhaust is basically straight thru (as opposed to the funky path of the C5 exhaust) that it must be very easy to install a set of small Flowmasters in place of the factory mufflers with a minimum of cutting and welding. A series 30 or series 40 has a nice growl at high RPM, and a great rumble at idle.
Then, you can cut off the factory tips and use them on the new mufflers. Anyone tried this yet? Has Flowmaster jumped into the C6 business yet???

They built a system for the C5 that really looked funky, and was about the only C5 system that was not Stainless Steel. I think that kind of killed their reputation with Corvette owners. I'm not flaming them, I have had flowmasters on pickup trucks myself.
