So forum members, post your most outrageous stories??? (But keep it clean).

So...

This post/thread has been up for one hour.

And NADA.

I guess the myth just isn't true, or too many wives read the forum.

Yesterday I was parked in a shopping center parking lot near a multiplex theater. A large group of about 30 high school kids came walking by on their way to see a movie. While the guys were busy drooling, the girls could not have cared less. To them, it was just another car.

Bottom line, if attracting chicks is your primary goal, buy a Mercedes or a BMW.

I picked up my son at school one day in my Honda S2000 and a girl walked by and said "I like your Vette".

I have a Mercedes and a BMW, neither seem to draw any attention. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I don't look for it.

A very pretty blonde lady in a black Lincoln Navigator did wave frantically at me once on Peachtree street. She then followed me into Burger King to ask me about the car. Didn't seem very interested in *me* though.

I actually seem to attract more attention in my Dodge Ram. One time I was stopped at a light in downtown Atlanta and there was a group of Japanese tourists standing on the corner. One said "Dodge-a RAM", and then there was a flurry of crick crick cricks from their cameras. I'm sure I'm the redneck prominently featured in a number of Japanese photo albums.

Note that I'm not exactly Quasimoto. I've had roles in several motion pictures, including Fireball 400 and Cannonball Run. Okay, not as a featured player, but I did get face time on camera, and the lens didn't crack.

I get lots of waves from women and I drive a patched and primered Ford Maverick with a coathanger antenna and a vinyl roof made of duct tape.

Then again, my license plate reads, "LRG JHNSN".

You know...I bought a new digital camera (about a month ago) because I lost my old 35 mm one . Its been sitting in my C6 just in case a young hottie comes along.
When I park in a shopping center or something I catch quite a few looking in. When that happens I ask ''can I take your picture next to my car"? They ask why and I give them BS that its for a corvette club or something like that. Haven't been turn down yet. They all fix their hair, straighten down clothes and flash a beautiful smile.
I shoo away the ugly ones and the guys.
I'll post pics soon.

Okay, funniest story. First of all, you have to know that I'm just not the type to get hit on by the ladies. I realize this is just my opinion, but I think I'm an okay looking guy, and am regularly told I look much younger than I am, but I guess I'm just not very swavey and deboner :o Really, I have an attractive wife, but I guess I just don't put out the "vibes" that I'm interested....

Anyway, I was driving my C6 down a busy road with lot's of traffic lights a few weeks ago. A fairly attractive lady - probably 15 years younger than I (I'm 52, btw) in a mini-van came up to me at a light. I had my windows down, as did she. She gave me a real big smile, then the light turned and off we went. Next light she stopped next to me and said "is that the NEW Corvette". I nodded and said '"yes". At that point she said her daugher - who was riding with her and appeared about 10 year old - loves my car! Light turns and off we go again. Next light she stops next to me again and says "this is my daughter XXXX(don't remeber her name) as if .....well, I don't know - as if what?

Geez Tracey, I can't believe you even replied to that one! Waaaay too much information.....But, I'm sure you do get hit on by plenty of guys when driving your Corvette - or anything else you drive, for that matter.
