I am writing a speech for a class of mine that centers on GM's development of 3 valve OHV systems. I have been viewing the patent information here: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-P...y=PN%2F6505589

But, when I go to view the images attached to the patent document, they never load. Is anyone else having this problem when they try to view these photos? Or, is it just me. Also, if you try to view them and are successful, is it possible you could email them to me?

I was able to view the images after loading the plug in.
This is completely off topic. It will probably be locked!

I don't think it's off topic. The 3valve head design is a somethign that may directly relate to the Corvette in the very near future. It had been talked about considerably as a possible feature of the LS7. And it may end up on the LS7 in the future.

Post your e mail address or PM me, and I will send the PLUGIN and a copy of the Patent in PDF form. I converted it to PDF, after going to the site and opening the images, after a period of time the site times out. So you have to reaccess the link. So I saved it and converted it to PDF.

these heads will show up on the trucks first to compete with ford trucks that already are selling 3 valve heads on some of their truck engines. the orignal picture up on the web showed a truck "vortex" type intake system.the extra valve train weight of this system will limit RPM. BWM used this same type of system,the short push rod across the head,to have a cross flow type head back in 1939.
