Below are some pictures of the new Velocity Yellow convertble with a 2002 Millenium Yellow convertible, a 1990 Competition Yellow ZR-1 (1 of only 27) and a 1966 Sunfire Yellow coupe.
Below is a picture without the Sunfire:
And this is the Velocity and the Millenium only:
The new yellow is lighter has a brightness to the tint that the Millenium was missing. Below are a few more shots of the Velocity by itself:
So, what does everyone think of the new Velocity Yellow?

I've always been a big MY fan...still am.. but VY with it's vibrant greenish overtone really jumps out at you.
If you're going to go for the flash and attention getting of yellow, VY certainly delivers.
When I saw the VY Z06 at Greenwich Concours a few weeks ago, I was blown away by the color. It looked even better than it did under the fluorescent lights at the NY auto show.
While MY remains a great color, VY makes MY look subdued, dated, and almost street sign or Caterpillar heavy machinery yellow by comparison.
