It's behind the see-thru mirror.

If you want to decrease you visibility and, thus, safety further, just remove the bulbs......and....BLAMMO!! no DRLs.

There's not an easy way to disable them permanently. Some have searched for the fuse, but I don't think it's on a fuse by itself.
You can turn them off each time after you start the car, of course.

what is the big deal ?
I disabled them on my C5's.
I don't drive into mirrors, whatever that's supposed to mean.
I just don't like them. If you do , great, more power to you.
If YOU are worried about your safety, then leave them on.
As far as them disabling themselves ,
So back to the original question, how do you disable the DRL's ?
Nobody has figured it out yet ? Maybe a relay or 2 ?

Thanks.

The easiest and fastest way to disable them is to set the parking brake one click BEFORE starting the car. Now the DTR's won't come on when you start it. The trade off is that the "Brake" light will be on while you drive...

BTW the DRL's are also your turn signals. Unless there are two bulbs in there.

OK, OK, when you macho men are all done biting each other, will one of you answer a simple question, please? Why are DRLs on the front of the car only? Many of us do a lot of freeway and divided highway driving, and having a light in the front is of little value. It's the jerk in the back who is about to plow into you who needs to see a light! Why don't DRLs have the rear lit up, as well?
