How do I keep cats off my car!!!
I just bought a car cover and will do my best to cover the car when I'm not driving it. But, I have an indoor/outdoor cat the my wife addors, so I cant kill it. The cat has taken a liking to the vette and likes to walk on it. Needless to say this makes me furious!! Does anyone know of ANY "Home remedies" that will keep cats away from your vehicle?? Thanks in advance!

Get an airhorn -- those canister things boat guys use. Hide where the cat can't see you but you can see the car. When the cat starts to get on the car, blast the horn. After about 3 days, the neighbors will call the police, who will take you away, and the cat can climb on the car in peace.

Pretty good ideas!! I'm searching online for cat repellants and see some that have a built in motion detector, when tripped, it emits a high pitched sound that the cats dont like. Anyone seen one of these?

I really didn't think it would work but I was down to my last option before I killed the neigbors cat! It worked. At least your cat only walks on your car. This cat kept spraying mine! I had a liitle Samari with the top off. It smelled so bad inside that car. I was really ready to take this cat into the desert and give it to a coyote!
The screamer worked. I wish I knew who made it. It has no markings on it at all. You might try pet smart. I'm sure some one still makes them.

Dave,
I'm more than willing to offer up the dog's services once he's healed.
I would use an airsoft pellet gun...all of the sting, with a lower level of lethality.

Lowe's sells some dog & cat repellant in a box, but it's expensive. You spread it around the car. Have not ever used it, so I can't tell you whether or not it works, but I have thought about trying it.
