Default Tradition or Discount?

I've already made my airline reservations and am about to make the Enterprise rental car reservations...But, as for room reservations, do I go with tradition and stay at the Country Hearth or stay at one of the other places that offer NCM members a discount:

Bryce Inn
Baymont Inn & Suites
Comfort Inn
Hampton Inn
Serenity Hill Bed & Breakfast

A concern is that I won't be leaving town directly from the museum, I'll be spending the night of delivery and be pulling out the next morning...so I want to stay someplace where I'll be able to sleep knowing my new vette will be perfectly safe.

Thanks

I stayed at the Hampton Inn. Pretty upscale for Bowling Green and I stay in hundreds of hotels as an Airline Pilot, I was impressed with the clean rooms, wireless etc..plenty of safe parking!

Have fun!

Free breakfast is nice when you want to grab something on the way out of the hotel to snack on

Are you saying Lightfoot is a forum member who owns a place to stay in BG?

I see he owns the Bryce Inn which was on the other list of places that give NCM members a discount. Has anyone done a price comparison of the places to stay?

I met Bob at his car wash in BG (close to the Museum) at the CF Cruise-In in May. Very friendly guy. He gave me his card for the motel. I already had a room but may give him a call next month when we go back to BG. His motel, in Smiths Grove, is about 12 miles from the Museum/Plant.

I've stayed at the Bryce Inn twice this year. Maybe not as "fancy" as some of the BG places, but about $53/night + tax, very reasonable rates, not as big (easy to park right outside your room), and Bob and Jackie are great people. Mention forum and NCM membership for a great price. I think it's exactly 10 miles north of the museum exit on I65 to Smith's Grove exit.

Originally we were scheduled to stay at the Country Hearth Inn, but it was recommended that we change to the Hampton Inn. So I would recommend that you go that route rather than Country Hearth. Yes you'll be nervous about your new car. But it will be OK.

Default After talking with my wife

we're in agreement...the most important thing is where we'll feel comfortable leaving the new vette outside that night before we leave...not whether it would get stolen, the wheels and tires taken, or even being keyed, but even the door ding of someone parking close to it.
