Make sure you rotate the shifter top rod (NOT THE BASE JUST THE BLACK ROD). In this picture it is incorrect : ack: The slot should face front and the OEM **** should just slip right into position. If you need to screw or hammer the **** you’re doing something wrong or you have an older B&M that has not been modified. This one looks to be modified, you can tell because at the bottom of the slot some of the black is machined

Another option would have been to have a concrete contractor pour concrete to that level. And have someone else raise or remove the roof That way you could get your truck in.

Well $#!+, now you need a step ladder to get in and out of the car. And please don't drive off one of those ramps.

I would have just moved.

Aloha!

I truly admire your resolve but I think if it was me I would have looked into selling/moving into another house w/o such an outrageous driveway design.

I have never seen anything like that. Oh well you are in paradise and I am not so who's the dummy right? Hahaha.

Dumb question: Can you not get your car under that structure even if you attack from a very aggressive angle?

Have you considered some excavating work? It appears to me that you could have the approach from the street to your patio cover paving re-sloped to take out that hump. It wouldn't be as expensive as you might think.

Okay so the way I see it is.....it doesn't appear that you have much "straight-shot" to line yourself up before you hit the first ramps. I'd just hate to see you fall off those ramps if everything wasn't perfect on your approach.

Furthermore after all your efforts.....you are only under a car-port.

Hope it all works out and let us know!
Beautiful Coupe!

I'm surprised they couldn't recrown the driveway.

And heavy rain must make that slope a waterfall!

Anyway, I hope your solution works out for you!

Yep, I remember - glad it was resolved. Hope it never falls off the ramps pulling in or out.

Really cool solution. Now, after parking the Vette, take the silver ramps and lock them up. A theif couldn't steal it even if he tried to tow it! Only problem would be if you forgot to put them back and backed out, OUCH!

Thanks,
Glenn

well, you have no excuse now not to wash and wax the underside of your car! Oil changes should be easy too.

IMO you should have bought another home. I had a driveway that was too steep the other way and would hang up on the lip of the garage. I moved.

What a man won't do for his vette......

Well, after a hard rain, that carport must have enough water in it to float quite a few boats.

Get some bicycle flags and place them to help you line up properly.

I see nothing wrong with this idea..... nice ramps, platform to exit onto..... rain just runs away without even getting its feet wet
