Gm Recall By Vin website
For those of you who wonder if there is a recall on your car you can go to chevy.com/mygmlink once you register and put in the Vin it shows all service's you have done plus any recalls for your vehicle. It also has your manual online and a email service to warn you of any new recalls.Call 1-866-MY-GMLink to have them add the vin if your car is new or not accepted.Sorry for the confusion

I had to send them an email and get them to put my VIN in the system. Lots of us had to do that. It's worth it though.

VIN Registration in MyGMlink
The system would never accept mine either. I tried for several months and finally gave them a call and they added it on the spot.

Got my C6, on 3/28/06 and I STILL can not enter my VIN#. My 60 day anniversary will soon be here.

I do not understand: MY-GMLink part of the number. That makes eight digits instead of seven after 1-866.

Good advice, guys, thanks! I could not get my VIN accepted either because the car is less than 60 days old. Called the My GMLink number and they added it for me!

This site is no more than a thinly veiled selling opportunity for GM. I thought it was hilarious the 50/100/150K service intervals suggested I bring my car in anywhere from 50 to 300 years from now! A company that thinks ahead!
