ifi didnt already have a dsom coupe... this thread would have sold me on dsom anyway... i love my color, copper/orange/cherry red at times... cant loose

Yep, third C6. The Z06 was sold and the 2005 will be traded-in.

Got the Z06 in October. I get a new Corvette every year. Didn't want to use the Z06 as a daily driver, so I kept the 2005. I really don't like driving a manual anymore and do like to take the roof off, so I'm back to a coupe.

Most of the people who met me in the showroom while DSOM was in production know that it was my favorite color. However, now be able to look at them side by side...I really love the Atomic Orange (hence forth to be named...AOM).

I saw the Atomic Orange in Bowling Green in April and I preferred my DSOM. I saw the same coupe at Lime Rock and now like the AO more. I'm glad I ordered it. It came off the line yesterday. I ordered it with a painted roof. Can't get enough of that AO.

How many DSOM verts were built?

I like both colors, but I like the DSOM best. My husband and I plan to purchase a DSOM Convertible in about one to two years. We currently have two C5's (03 MY coupe, 01 torch vert) and a 66 Laguna Blue coupe. We will sell or trade the 01 vert to get the DSOM vert (in one to two years when we will have our truck paid off).

Does anyone know how many total DSOM verts were built?

Darn. That's going to make them hard to find and more expensive. Too bad they don't still have torch. I like that color a lot! But of course all vettes look good in any color. Thanks for the info.

If you own a DSO then of course you love it, but the atomic is better suited for a Vet in my opinion and much more eye catching. I did a little survey of non corvette owners and all think the Atomic is beautiful.
