C6 1st-4th skip shift eliminator
Nothing at all against the vendor-but all I said is that the simple alteration and use of a modified fuse which is installed in fuse box under the hood is a whole lot cheaper, and doesn't require jacking up the car to install anything.

Dont do the fuse!
I tried the supposed smart fuse and lost my tail lights! Just did the cags jumper and redline trans fluid. Best decision yet for the car. Shifts smooth and without hesitation.

Now at Southern Car Parts....
Do you hate the 1-4 skip shift installed on the C6 Manual Transmission? This little device will eliminate that annoying issue.
This kit will allow you to disable the Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS) feature of your C5 Corvette's 6-speed gearbox. This kit uses genuine Delphi Packard Electric Systems division connectors, plugs and seals to protect your wiring harness and CAGS solenoid to allow you to re-connect the harness for full CAGS function, if you so desire. This kit is designed for use on both the standard MN6 Corvette's 6-speed gearbox and also the M12 Z06 Corvette's 6-speed gearbox. No permanent modifications are required to install this product.
Takes 5 mins to install and is easily reversible.
Each Kit comes with complete installtion instructions.
NOTE: This kit will prevent the CAGS solenoid from engaging but the "1 to 4" light on the dash will still illuminate when skip shift conditions are met.

Hello,
I am fairly new here and while we're on this subject, does anyone know if the CAGS bypass from an older C4 would work? I just bought an '07 vert (don't actually have it yet, it's in transit), when I sold my '91 back whenever it was, I hung onto the CAGS bypass, which I think was more or less just plugs, but the plugs look the same, anyone have an idea?
Thanks!
