Years ago they were running vettes on route 91 in CT as police cars (mainly chase cars). Mustang LX's with the 5.0 package also. I've also seen Volvo's
as police cruisers in Riverdale NJ years ago.

Let's not give them any ideas Besides, with all their equipment weighing down the car and taking-up space....where would the bad guys sit once apprehended? We still can't outrun the radio which is far more cost efficient for those always revenue-strapped law enforcement agencies.

Back in the day, a friend of mine was a FHP Trooper. I made that same comment to him about out running a radio. His response was, who will I call - I'm the only trooper in my area.

In the game Need for Speed: Most Wanted, once you reach the "federal" wanted level, they send out a pack of corvettes and it is very difficult to evade them, and the #1 cop in the game drives......a z06! Pretty fun game, but you old people probably dont even know how to install a pc game Just kidding, I'm sure once enough of you started poking around the computer someone would get it right
