I have a manual Grandsport 2012 is this the same procedure? Has anyone done an update to include the differences for a grandsport?

Grand sport manual will not have a drain plug. there is a fitting there with a line out to the oil cooler pump. I have not looked a one closely.
there may be a t with a plug opposite the line. oor you may have to pull the line to drain I'm not sure after refilling you should run it and check the level as some fluid may be lost from the cooler and or lines

I found another DIY for changing the diff fluid for the Z06 on this forum so I think this more resembles the GS system. Your correct, the line to the oil cooler is a bit different but it showed the same basic procedure but with a clip attaching the line that needs to be purchased.

Any consensus on how often the diff fluid should be changed. Seems pretty simple so every year? Or two?

I don't think there will be a consensus answer. In my opinion, the change interval will vary based on what fluid (brand) you use (e.g. the quality of the basestock varies by brand), and your usage (e.g. track, street, dual use, etc).

My personal thumbrules are about every 8 track days or so for my 02 Z06, and about 30-50k for a street car.

If your car is not making any noise, you can leave it alone. At some point, you should change the Diff oil anyway, but unless you have a high mileage car, you are fine as is. It really is a simple job though. I had no noise and did minestrone 27,000 miles. Simple DIY.

2006 w/38,000 miles, just changed the diff oil according to the TSB and it seems to have immediately stopped the noise.

Default Is TSB: #07-04-20-002A currently the latest?

How can I verify that TSB: #07-04-20-002A is the latest bulletin? I am having difficulty finding these on the GM website. 2005 Corvette Coupe

here is the site with all the TSB's for corvettes. Most TSB's have not been revised since their early roll out.

Sorry to bump such and old thread, but I had a question. I have a 2012 GS and was wondering... can you get to the fill port from above the engine using a long tube. Seems easier to me than having to get a pump.
