Fog lamps that "match" the headlights?
I saw a thread a while back about some fog lamp bulbs that were brighter than the OEM ones, and more closely matched the headlamps, didn't look so "yellow" compared to the HLs. Anyone know where I can find this thread of anyone got this info/pics/part numbers, etc?
Thanks in advance, Shawn

I replaced the driving light OEM bulbs with HOEN...yes I know pics don't really show total accuracy but this pic shows that there is a difference>>>
To wit...take the same pic with your camera (OEM headlights and OEM driving lights) and compare

I did the Sylvania Silverstars. I believe they were bulb 9145. They were a bit brighter but not as good as the HOEN bulbs I have seen. The 9145's were a 50W bulb I think.

Hoen Fog Lamp Bulbs
They are direct from the manufacturer and I used the H10's (9145). I believe that they are 4100K which is very close to the Xeon headlamp color - they look much better than stock, but not sure they light up the road any better. Very easy to install - there is a description of installation on one of the threads.

I just ordered the HOEN Corvette lighting package (From the HOEN site). I comes with the H10 (Fog lights) and the H9 (High beam) bulbs for $58 plus shipping.
Can't wait for them to arrive and check them out.

i used the Polarion Lighting kit from xenonfactory I had this kit in my last 2 cars I just keep removing it when I sell them and now there on my corvette, hella ballest & phillip 4100k bulbs, theres plenty of room in there for the bulbs and ballest, sorry no pics of install I just decided to do it late one night and didnt think of it, and for those that want a more yellow light for fogs you can get phillips bulbs in 3,000k

I bought them at AutoZone for $29.00. The good thing, they could be returned if I wasn't happy with the outcome...but I was.

i have H10 55w headlights in my fog lights (yellow 2500K)
you can also use a 9005 bulb they come in 55w - 65w - 100w (depending where you get them from)
i use a 9005 for quite a while when i was looking for the yellows (cheap from just about any store)
stock H10 are 42w
i also changed the high beams to (yellow 2500K)
