C6 ordered: will it come with the XM antenna installed?
Does the dealer install the antenna, or does it come mounted from the factory.
I don't want the XM activated, and don't want the black antenna sitting on top of my VY roof.

Starting with the '06, XM antennas were mounted in exteror rear view mirror housings.
I took delivery of my '05 in February and was going to wait until May to activate my XM. When I arrived at the dealership for pick-up, I learned that the XM had already been activated. Be sure to talk to your dealer about this.

2007 C6 Windshield Antenna??
Isn't the antenna mounted just to the right of the rearview mirror the "Onstar" antenna in the 2007 C6 models?? I just got my new car and I'm sure that is correct-I'll have to look again.
(Thought the "XM antennas" were still in the rear view mirrors to give us complete 360 degree coverage from all angles, just like they had them on the 2006 models.)

XM™ Satellite Radio Antenna
System (Diversity System)
Your vehicle may have the XM™ Satellite Radio
antennas that are located in the outside rear view
mirrors. These antennas are hidden from view and are not not accessible.
As I understand it the antenna's are only installed if your car has the factory XM system.
