Maybe because they don't order any? Seriously, if you look at the '05 and '06 production statistics, white is the lowest production of all the colors. This is generally taken to mean that it's the least popular. That's probably enough to discourage a dealer from ordering one to hold in his inventory.
But, you might get a better answer if you asked someone at Kerbeck.

Kerbeck seems to order a certain way (ex. pretty much all of their Victory Reds have black interior, where I would prefer a gray interior).I don't understand why they don't stock at least one white one either. While it is no longer one of the most popular colors (as it used to be with the C4), there are still a lot of people who would buy a white one. I think the C6 looks fantastic in white, where I didn't care for it on the C5. I truly hope they do not discontinue white for 2008 as that is what I intend on ordering.

Thanks
If I am a dealer I want a red or black one sitting around, it's supposed to attract attention, not blend in.

Check around with the Forum dealers and see what they have or what they can order for you. If you are not successful in finding what you want, PM me and I can put you in touch with a dealer who most likely has allocations right now, will discount and can get what you want.

I've wondered the same thing about Kerbeck's inventory. There would
have to be at least a few who would buy from them if they offered a
just a few white ones.
LOVE my white coupe!! It is sooo bue-tee-ful!

I was in the area a couple of months ago, and decided to stop and see Dave at Kerbeck. We got to talking about the fact that they had just about every combination imaginable to look at, and he told me that the only color they won't order for stock is white. Yes, it's just a matter of stocking what sells.
Of course, he also has a "Ronald McDonald" Corvette sitting over in the corner (Yellow with Red interior). I can assure you I gave him a hard time about that one

When I ordered mine, I got a discount, but not the maximum discount. I also had to wait a few weeks (in February - who cares?). Then again, I ordered it the way I wanted it, and skipped things I really didn't want, like the power top, and the upgraded wheels. So, the price worked out about the same.
Now the trade in, on the other hand . . .
They aren't known for their generosity on that end . . .
. . . but I was much better off (and happier) "all-in" than at the two other dealers where I shopped. Just be prepared.

Actually, the statistics reported for 2006 C6 Vettes, shows that the Orange color sold less than the Artic White....by .1 percent....pretty close.
I did go to one dealer where they were about 60 C6s on the lot and not one white one. They told me they did not move/sell as fast. They do not want to get stuck with a slow mover.
Beats me why the don't sell as well...I love my Artic White. Funny, my next choice was the Atomic Oange...another supposed slow move...although I noticed the dealer had plenty of them on the lot...at least 5, that is.
