Default Magnetic plugs

Does anyone make magnetic oil, trans, and diff plugs? The only ones I can find are for the C5 not the C6. I found these at www.ecklers.com Will these plugs fit my C6 properly?

Forgot to add Ecklers part numbers...

Oil Plug #39805
Trans Plug #42114
Diff. Plug #42115

The diff plug from a C-5 will fit a C-6. Don't know about the trans. I got a magnetic diff plug from Mid-America but I think Ecklers is the same.

You can get the 2007 oil drain plug from your Chevrolet dealer. I doubt magnetic plugs for the transmission or differential provide any meaningful benefit.

Actually, I think a magnetic plus is most beneficial on the diff. and manual trans. No filters there, and steel to steel contact in the gears. BTW, the original VW beetles had a transaxle magnetic plug, but only a screen for engine oil.

I remember seeing a post that showed a large magnet is glued to the inside of the tranny housing at the factory. Other folks may be able to confirm or deny. If it's true the magnetic plug might be overkill.
